Meet a Seminarian

Bob Rooney is a "senior" seminarian. Like many other priests-in-the-making whose vocation story involves a response to God's call a bit later in life than post-high school or college, Bob was an attorney for 30 years prior to his entry into seminary. Jonathan Fox had a litany of reasons why he could not become a priest. A chance meeting (knowing nothing is really chance!) in the Catholic Student Center at Pitt State led to a life-changing encounter that opened the door to seminary life.
