A chilly wet Thursday evening didn't prohibit a crowd of nearly 40 folks from attending the January General Membership Meeting of the JOCO Serra Club. If you weren't there, you missed a barnburner of a chili cookoff experience. The annual JOCO Serra Club's "Great American Chili Cook-Off" (the name gets embellished every year . . .) was once again a hit with participants and meeting attendees. If you like chili, this is your go-to spot in January!
On October 11 & 12, members of the Serra Clubs of Kansas City in Kansas and Johnson County made a visit to Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis, MO. Check out photos and highlights of the visit inside!
The 45th annual event celebrating the lives of our religious sisters and the great work they do in the Church took place at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Shawnee, KS, on Sunday afternoon, August 13, 2023. An estimated crowd of 150, at least half of those in attendance were religious sisters, enjoyed the afternoon of conversation, bingo, and Kansas City barbecue.
