Arriving from Brazil to the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas on January 22, 2012, the Sisters of the Fraternity of the Poor of Jesus Christ, also known as the Poor of Jesus Christ, spend their lives committed to helping the poorest of the poor, the homeless, and those who have nowhere else to go. The Board of Directors recently reviewed and updated JOCO Serra Bylaws. The last revision occurred in 2017. Draft changes of consequence (those changes not involving simple grammar, punctuation, syntax, etc.,) are highlighted in red below. Please read through the proposed changes and come prepared to vote on these changes at the December General Membership Meeting on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Hard copies of these draft changes will be available at the meeting.
