I learned that pilgrims are called to Lourdes by Our Lady. A trip to Lourdes doesn't just happen. Blessed to travel with 145 other pilgrims from around the United States, I witnessed grace in action. Traveling with the intent to serve others as part of a medical team, I received much more than I gave. Read on to learn more about Lourdes, St. Bernadette, and spiritual food for pilgrims.

First in a series of articles highlighting the Eucharistic Revival of the Catholic Church in the United States. A three-year initiative launched on the Feast of Corpus Christi, June 19, 2022, with the Year of Diocesan Revival. The Eucharistic Revival aims to increase amazement in the Real Presence, a cornerstone of the foundational vocational call to holiness. Without this, we cannot hope to bring others to Christ.

Members of the Serra Clubs of Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas joined in a pilgrimage visit to St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, CO, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. There were smiles and many positive comments all around! Huge thanks to Kelly Kmiecek, Administrative Assistant at the Vocations Office for her help in organizing!

The 2022 Serra Club Picnic at the Arth Farm was a rousing success! Hosts Don and Janice Arth provided the main course of a great BBQ and fried chicken dinner, with club members providing sides and desserts. The gathering enjoyed conversation, friendship, and a wonderful late summer day. The group said a Rosary for Vocations before closing out the day at sunset.
