2023 Chili Cook-off Another Hit!

Seven chili chefs competed for prizes in the 2023 edition of the Great Chili Cook-off. The Serra Club of Johnson County raised just over $300 for vocations. Read on for revelation of the winning cooks!

Seven chili cooks competed for prized in the 2023 version of the Great Chili Cook-off at the January General Membership Meeting. It was an evening of fun, fellowship and, of course, great chili!

Top honors went to Sue Shain. She is pictured (left) with club president, John Weber, awarding the gold medal and a new apron to Sue. Congrats, Sue!

Second and third place finishers were Rosemary Weber and Jennifer Zielinski, respectively. Our three "Chili Cook-off Champions" pictured right are, left to right, Jennifer Zielinski, Sue Shain, and Rosemary Weber.

Congrats to all the winners! Thanks to all the cooks for the great chili!
