Annual Serra Club Seminary Visit

Event Information

The Annual Serra Club Seminary Visit unfolds October 15-16, 2025. This year we travel to St. Louis to visit seminarians at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary. 

The group has also been invited to visit the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George in Alton, IL, which is about 40 minutes from the seminary. Sisters from this order teach at St. James Academy. 

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Drury Inn & Suites St. Louis Forest Park at 2111 Sulphur Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139. 

Group rate: $108/night for 2 queen beds; $112/night for king bed

Here is the itinerary for the visit to St. Louis:

Wednesday, Oct. 15

• 2:00-3:30 pm – Visit and tour the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George, St. Francis Convent, 1 Franciscan Way, Alton, IL 62002
• Check in opens at 3pm at the Drury Inn, 2111 Sulphur Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139
• 6:30 pm – Dinner with the seminarians at Favazza’s on the Hill, 5201 Southwest Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139 (we’ll be ordering from the group dinner menu and it will be on one ticket)

Thursday, Oct. 16

• 7:30 am – Mass at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, 5200 Glennon Dr, St. Louis, MO, 63119
• 8:00 am – Breakfast in the seminary refectory
• 9:00 am – Seminary tour/visit
• 10:00 am – Depart for home or other activity
